Frequently asked questions
What counts as an event?
A pageview is one event. Custom events (button clicks, form submissions) also count as one event each.
Do I need a cookie consent banner?
No. Web-Tracking.eu is fully cookieless — we don't store cookies, localStorage, or any identifier on your visitors' devices. Under ePrivacy Directive Article 5(3), consent is only required when storing or accessing information on the user's device. We do neither. (Note: if you enable GA4 forwarding with client-side gtag.js, that's still subject to consent.)
What happens when I hit my event limit?
We stop recording new events for the rest of the month. Your dashboard and historical data remain accessible. No overage charges.
Can I switch plans?
Yes, upgrade or downgrade anytime. Changes take effect immediately. We prorate billing automatically.
Where is my data stored?
All data is stored on Hetzner servers in Germany. No data transfers outside the EU.
Do you offer a Data Processing Agreement?
